Debra Mitchell is a powerful spiritual leader. Having been on her
spiritual path since she was 17 years old, she has studied with
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Deepak Chopra, Adi Da Samraj and Debbie Ford. In
addition to being a life coach, she is also a meditation teacher and
holds her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with the highest level
of licensure in New York State. She is on staff at the St. Lawrence
County Mental Health Clinic as a psychotherapist specializing in
children, families and the expressive art therapies. Debra's keen
intuition, compassionate heart and deep understanding for the human
condition allow her to hold her clients in a safe, loving and sacred
place as they work through their obstacles to achieve their goals and
live the life of their dreams.
Debra believes that each
individual is a unique and special soul who has been given gifts and
talents to express during their lifetime and to make some contribution
in the world. Furthermore, she believes that every life experience is
an opportunity to learn and grow. Integrative Coaching and the personal
and professional training Debra has done through the program has
allowed her to: reclaim her powerful self with love, respect and honor;
create a successful coaching practice; transform her life from feeling
like a victim of circumstance into a life of creativity, purpose and
passion; and to embrace her courageous adventurous spirit by going on
an annual wilderness kayaking trip, solo!
Debra specializes in working with individuals who want to further
explore their life purpose and their gifts and feel they have some
contribution to make to the world. She also loves to coach those who
are creative and wish to be fully expressed through their art, music or
dance. Life transitions, healing relationships, living one's passion
and purpose, and bringing greater joy, love and laughter into one's
life, are a few of the areas she is inspired to coach people in.
