Quote of the Day

Jessica Burnham has worked as an Executive Assistant for years, helping brilliant people stay organized and accomplish their work. When she first began her journey with Debbie Ford in 2006, she realized that one of her biggest shadows was “I’m stupid and not good enough.” After confronting these shadows, she realized that she was always there to support brilliant people in their careers rather than supporting herself because she didn’t believe in herself. Her first Shadow Process instigated an awakening of deep compassion for this part of herself and she was able to stop her self-judgment and start the process of fully believing in herself as a teacher and a writer. Now she has became fully committed to finding ways to help others develop their greatest potential by uncovering their shadows that have been deeply rooted in self sabotage through her writing and coaching. Coaching has been an incredible tool in enabling her to effectively carry out this work with others through honesty and accountability, as well as intuitively asking the right questions so her clients can see the truth in their lives versus what they have been avoiding. She has deep personal experience with divorce, co-dependency, financial sabotage and self-nurturing issues.

Jessica’s own work with coaching has helped her let go of many self-limiting belief systems and to confront what she was really committed to versus what she thought she was committed to. Growing up she always had lots of questions regarding the true nature of her humanity. She worked hard to control her environment from a fairly young age, but never knew her power from the deeper sense of being. Her emotional contribution to the world was out of control, while her work as a student or leader was always in control. She was committed to being “a good girl” in the sense of always taking care of others needs and making sure the world around her was comfortable. She made sure that no one knew her deepest secret- how she truly felt about herself versus what others thought of her. Through the uncovering of these self-limiting belief systems she has been able to step out of the “little box” she always placed herself in, and step out into a world without self-imposed limitations.

The basis of Jessica’s work with others is the inspiration she has received from those that are really choosing to give life their all. Working with others in this capacity enlivens her heart, and she is consciously choosing to acknowledge that the more she gives to others in their process of realization through authenticity and deep listening, the more this world will change for the better. Step by step, she is choosing to be used for the highest good of the world- not only all sentient beings, but the collective consciousness- our true connectedness. She feels like a revolution is taking place in this moment in the understanding that all the inner work we choose to do, contributes to the greatest potential of this world by envisioning the highest expressions of one another in love.
