Marilyn Gausewitz has been a Blueprint coach since 2003. Two life
experiences contributed most to her becoming a coach. Marilyn was a
child of divorce in 1969, long before divorce was a common occurrence.
And physically she was a weak child, unable to participate in
activities with her peers. Marilyn was uncomfortable with the attention
this drew to her and eventually isolated herself and felt like an
outcast.
Before doing this work, Marilyn was extremely withdrawn and quiet,
rarely leaving the comfort of her home. By taking steps to address the
shame and embarrassment she had around these issues, she has
transformed her life. Marilyn no longer feels ashamed of her disability
and this has given her the freedom to embrace life again. She now
thoroughly enjoys activities with her friends and family when she isn’t
engaging in programs with her second family --- the Integrative
Coaching Community.
Marilyn’s passion is to support people like herself who have allowed a
poor body image to limit them from engaging fully in life. Marilyn
leads her clients to discover their own truth about what has them
engage in self-hatred and sabotage their success. Her compassionate, no
nonsense style of coaching helps her clients to find a bold new
commitment to their health and well-being, able to replace their
previous humiliation and disgust about their body with celebration for
the life-changing gift their physical challenges have presented. In
this way Marilyn has been able to deliver her clients the results they
desire and to go beyond what they can imagine.
