Sharri Harmel provides relationship coaching to individuals who have
the courage and desire to explore and heal the painful relationships
that are guiding the direction of their lives. She is a mentor coach
for other Integrative Coaches in training and a member of the
International Coach Federation. Sharri’s varied roles as business
woman, educator, volunteer, mother, step mother and wife have given her
exceptional skills to coach individuals ready and willing to find
answers within the negative relationships in their lives. Committed to
ongoing learning and growing, Sharri has also been a long-time advocate
in the field of learning disabilities, which began with her daughter, a
current college student who has a learning disability. Sharri
co-founded Free Arts Minnesota, a successful Minneapolis non-profit
organization focused on providing the healing benefits of art to abused
children. Sharri has volunteered in many leadership capacities, with a
gift of creating connections between people and a passion for
individual and organizational growth.
Through embracing the work of Debbie Ford’s teaching, Sharri learned
firsthand that there are often many layers of pain and necessary
healing. She came to this work with the intention to heal the pain of
an unhappy marriage. Delving deep underneath that intention, she was
finally able to expose the much deeper relationship issues that
surrounded her long hidden secret - a teenage pregnancy and the loss of
her first child to adoption. This work allowed Sharri to come to a
decision about her marriage and finally heal the pain of her teenage
shame and loss. Sharri’s life has completely shifted from being stuck
in her secret guilt and pain, using food to fill the hole in her heart
to living a joyful life with loving relationships, a passionate
purpose, a healthy lifestyle and a renewed energy for life. Today
Sharri has no more secrets, and openly embraces the gifts in both her
past and present experiences.
Sharri works with clients who are willing and committed to uncovering
and healing the relationship issues that are keeping them trapped in a
stagnant life. She has worked with a wide variety of relationship
issues; coaching clients with present issues as well as those who need
to uncover the deep, often secret or shameful relationship experiences
from their past. Sharri’s clients have included people with partner
relationship issues, some married, some not, parental relationship
issues, including the unique pain within an adoption or foster care
experience, as well as people struggling with the pain and acceptance
of a learning disability. Sharri works with clients who are ready,
willing, and passionately committed to changing the trajectory of their
lives.
