On the trail of President Obama's visit to the Middle East, which created unprecedented exchange and open dialogue between Arabs and Americans, we are thrilled to have a Lebanon office of The Ford Institute which has been responsible for bringing The Shadow Process to the Middle East.
The Lebanon office is managed by Joumana Rizk, a Master Integrative Coach. After a decade of training with best-selling author and world-renowned coach Debbie Ford, Joumana is honored to be partnering with her to bring this phenomenal work to the Arab World.
Joumana brings a unique blend of wisdom and passion as she leads the acclaimed Shadow Process in her native Lebanon as well as a variety of empowerment workshops and trainings worldwide. Most recently, Joumana presented two sessions at the Global Peace Initiative of Women’s Jaipur 2008 conference and co-moderated a breakout session at the DPI’s Paris 2008 conference, “Reaffirming Human Rights for All.” She will be presenting this June in Rome at the meeting of The Arab League and Italian Ministry on Foreign Affairs on “Perspective of Gender Equality in the Arab Region.”
Joumana is a graduate of Wharton and Yale and is the Founder and Directress of Peacelights, an organization dedicated to changing cultural shadows through personal transformation, arts and media, and leadership development.
